Established in 2021, the Joel Brahce Award is in memory of Dr. Joel Brahce, a 1976 graduate of Pioneer High School, who played tuba, was a drum major candidate, and soloed at Interlochen. To honor his lifelong passion for music, the Joel Brahce Award Fund will make a cash award to a current student in grades 9 - 11 to attend Pioneer Band Camp.
APPLICANTS:
Students can apply annually for the Joel Brahce Award by completing the online application on or before May 1. The recipient is announced at the Bandquet in the Spring.
