  • A white AA Pioneer Bands baseball hat. Students in SB, CBP, & CBW receive one hat the first time they march at no cost. Students are expected to keep this hat for all of the years they are in the marching band. If a student needs to replace a hat, they will be charged for the replacement ($20 cash). The baseball hat is a required piece of the uniform for each home game.

What do I do with my marching uniform?

  • The jacket and pants portion of the marching band uniform will stay at school.
  • Students bring their hats, baseball hats, gloves, socks, & shoes home.
  • Students must wear their hats and gloves for the Friday afternoon drills as well as for the games.
  • Students must wear their black socks and shoes for the games.

  • If you will not go home between school and when you have to report to the Friday afternoon drills, remember to bring everything to school that day or make arrangements for someone to get them to you before the drills start.

What do I need to get to complete my marching uniform?

  • Students are responsible for providing their own black socks, black athletic shoes, and white gloves. The marching shoes must be completely black. Please note that If the marching shoe is not completely black and there are any other visible colors (e.g. lettering. logo) students will be asked to either cover their shoes in black duct tape or color in with a black sharpie.
  • Students buy their gloves from the PBA at Band Camp Registration Day for $5 (cash).
  • Students receive their first white baseball hat from the uniform team at no cost. If they have to purchase a replacement hat, it will cost $20.
  • Students are responsible for getting a lyre appropriate for their marching instrument and a flip folder.

Concert Band

When are concert uniforms distributed?

  • Concert uniforms are distributed in October/November for Symphony and Concert bands.
  • Students are responsible for bringing their concert uniform home the week it is distributed to their band. The week designated for each band can be found on the Band Calendar. The exact date of the distribution will be announced in class and in the Sunday newsletter.
  • For students that ride the bus home, it is difficult to bring the concert uniform on the bus. We encourage families to arrange pick-up of their student when their uniform is distributed.

What is the concert uniform?

  • Long black dress or a tuxedo, student's choice (provided by Band)
  • Black dress shoes, black socks, and a white dress shirt if wearing a tuxedo (provided by Student)

What do I do with my concert uniform?

  • Tuxedos and dresses go home with the students and are returned at the end of the school year.
  • Students are responsible for hemming their own dresses or tuxedo pants. They may hem the uniform at home or take it to a tailor. Fabric may be turned up, but not cut, so it may be let out for the next student.
  • Students arrive at each concert wearing their concert uniforms.
  • Tuxedos are dry clean only! Do NOT wash them. If properly hung after every concert, they will last the whole year without needing cleaning. We will dry-clean them for you over the summer.
  • Dresses can be washed with the regular laundry and either put in the dryer (on low heat) or hung to dry.

What do I need to get to complete my concert uniform?

  • Students are responsible for providing their own black socks, black dress shoes, and white dress shirt if wearing a tuxedo.
