About the Marching Bands
Symphony Band and Concert Band Purple serve as the Marching Bands performing at pre-game and half-time shows at all home varsity football games. Concert Band White joins the Marching Band at one football game per season (usually the last home game). Attendance at Marching Drills and Home Football Games is required and students must attend in order to receive full credit in band class. Go to the Pioneer Bands Calendar for dates and times for reporting for Marching Drills and Game Day.
Go to Uniforms for information about Marching Band uniforms.
Marching Band Instruments
Do not get rid of any old instrument since it may be used for marching band. High-quality instruments are used for practices and performances only, not for marching drills. As always, if you have any concerns, contact Mr. Polot.

Volunteer Needs to Support Marching Band
Hydration Team
During the after-school marching drills, the hydration team helps hydrate and feed the kids. Donations and volunteer roles are available. Look for a sign-up link in the Sunday newsletter to help.
Escort Team
Pioneer Band Association volunteers provide a safe escort to and from the game for the band as they march down the school drive to Hollway Field on game day and back. This job is key to the safety of our band members. The Escort Team is admitted to the game free of charge. Your duties leave you plenty of time to see the pre-game and halftime show. View more about Marching Band Escort Procedures. Look for a sign-up link in the Sunday newsletter to help.
Uniform Team
Most of the marching uniform stays at school and the Uniform Team manages the distribution and collection of the uniforms with the student on home game day.
