Alumni of the Pioneer Bands
Welcome home former band members and parents! You helped build the foundation of excellence for today’s program and for that we are grateful. You will always be a vital part of the Pioneer Bands family.
We invite you to look back at your time in the Pioneer Bands through the pictures and stories posted on our Memories pages. Creating memories and marking milestones are an important part of our program. We all value the lifelong friendships that are made in band, and the sense of accomplishment in our performances is a wonderful treasure we share.
As we approach the 100th anniversary of the Pioneer Bands in 2013, you are invited to participate in The Centennial Project. Our goal is to research and write the history of the Pioneer Bands. You can post your stories and pictures so that our history is detailed and complete. You can help us identify individuals for a Reflections of Excellence Award. You can even plan a reunion event. The Centennial Project can only succeed if everyone in our extended band family chooses to support the project. We hope we can count on you!
Most importantly, we hope you will reconnect with your program. Send us your current contact information. Friend us on Facebook. Plan to attend our upcoming concerts and events. Support our program with a gift of your resources.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, your donation to the Pioneer Band Association is tax-deductible. Your gifts make scholarships, instruments, and special programming possible. We also invite you to consider a gift to the Robert Albritton Endowment Fund through the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, which supports an annual summer scholarship award for one of our current musicians.
You can also honor former Director of Bands Robert Albritton, help out a current band student, and benefit the band program by making a tax-deductible donation to the Robert Albritton Endowment Fund.
