Welcome New Students
The Pioneer Band Program is rooted in the talent and preparation of young musicians in our feeder middle schools and those who move into our community from other programs. We encourage you to continue to develop your appreciation of music disciplines, and we are prepared to help you develop practice disciplines and find private instructors. We welcome your questions and concerns, and promise prompt, friendly answers; our contact information is just a click away.
Your transition and acclimation into the Pioneer Band Program will likely be both exciting and a bit stressful. We make every effort to help you enjoy the excitement and relieve you of the stress. One way we do this is through our Incoming 9th Grade Band Family Orientation.
Assignments to our various ensembles are by audition. Here are the rosters for the current school year. And here is our current Band Calendar.

We have loaded it with links to focus pages, comprising all of the same information you can find in our Band Handbook, as well as downloadable forms you will need. You can easily get a sense of the scope of the Pioneer Band program from the Activities & Events page.
Band Camp and Band Registration may be the first activities a new student is involved in. All the forms you will need for camp, registration and every other band activity can be found on our Resources and Forms page.
If you haven’t done so already, please fill out the 9th Grade Band Interest Form, send it to the Director of Bands, and you will be contacted.
