9:30 AM Ellis IslandArrive in Liberty Park and board the next available ferry for Ellis Island — the nation's main point of entry for millions of immigrants from 1892 to 1924. The Ellis Island Immigration Museum holds exhibits, which chronicle the history of the island and the processing station.
  Statue of LibertyAfter your visit, re-board the ferry for Liberty Island to view the Statue of Liberty. (November 2011 – September 2012 all interior spaces will be closed while upgrades are made to the 125 year old pedestal and the 200 year old fort base from which the statue rises. Visitors will still be able to visit the Island for unobstructed views of the Statue of Liberty)

Experience a moving tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center site, near Shanksville, Pa., and at the Pentagon, as well as those killed in the World Trade Center bombing in February 1993.
