Dear Band Families

Have you pulled out your winter clothing only to notice the burn marks from last year’s bonfires? Or was that from the fireplace? Anyway, this is what my daughter Hope recently did. So now, of course, the question is which new apparel should I get her for Christmas this year?

Fortunately, the 2009-2010 Band Spirit Apparel pictures and order form are now on our website:

In addition, if you order your Band Apparel by this Friday the 18th, you can pick it up from my house, at Independence and Essex near Allen Elementary School and County Farm Park, early next week in time for holiday gift-giving!

This is not a fundraiser. Apparel is priced as close to cost as we can, so everyone can show their band spirit.

Monday, December 7, 2009 Ypsilanti, MI - Please mark your calendars!

EVERY MONDAY The Paul Keller Orchestra performs at the Keystone Martini Bar, 200 W. Michigan Ave. (downstairs beneath J. Neil’s Mongolian Grill) in downtown Ypsilanti, MI. Showtime is 8:15 PM till 11:00 PM. No Smoking! Great Food! Free Parking! Elevator access! $7.00 cover charge.

The Paul Keller Orchestra welcomes Ann Arbor Pioneer High School Jazz Big Band to the Keystone on December 7th as participants in the 2009 PKO Jazz Student Outreach Program. The PKO will play from 8:15 PM till 9:15. Then, the Pioneer HS Jazz Band will play a 30 minute set from 9:30 PM till 10:00. Members of the Pioneer High School Big Band will be invited to join the PKO for the last set from 10:00 till 11:00 PM. This event will be rewarding and memorable for the student musicians, the pros and audience members alike. The PHS Jazz Big Band is directed by David Leach.
